Washington football dominates Las Vegas Bowl

Washington football took advantage of freshman quarterback Hank Bachmeier, who missed the last five games for Boise State due to injury, picking him off twice in the first half, and turning both turnovers into touchdowns.

The Husky defense took over the game early, and never looked back. Broncos’ running back George Holani, the Mountain West conference’s Freshman of the Year, was held to just 35 yards on 11 carries in the game.

The only touchdown of the game came when third string quarterback Jaylon Henderson pitched a shovel pass to Holani, but outside of that drive, the Broncos couldn’t seem to get anything going against the Huskies.
