Washington football adds some big time PWOs

Chris Petersen put together an incredible recruiting class for Washington football in 2020, and Jimmy Lake kept everyone in the boat after Petersen stepped down. And Lake has officially earned his first commitments during his Washington tenure. While not scholarship players, Lake earned the commitments of multiple local stars with preferred walk-on offers.

The first is local star Kasen Kinchen out of Lake Stevens High School. Kinchen is a nationally ranked, three-star prospect who chose to walk-on at Washington over offers from both Cal and Oregon. Kinchen starred on both sides of the ball at Jacob Eason‘s alma mater, and gives the Huskies an excellent, high-upside cornerback that they can find a place for on special teams, and given Washington’s pedigree with defensive backs, maybe a slot in the rotation one day.
