The Washington football program had an incredible run in the 2022 regular season, led by Heisman finalist Sam Huard. As he raises the national championship trophy to a sea of purple inside the new home of the Rams and the Chargers in Los Angeles, he says to a disgruntled Kirk Herbstreit, “This is why I committed to Washington, to bring a national championship back home.
