Washington basketball’s downward spiral continues

Another late loss for Washington basketball in a close game. This time, the Huskies fell 75-72 at the hands of the Arizona Wildcats, after a Jemarl Baker Jr. three-pointer with 42 seconds remaining sealed the Huskies’ fate.

Everything started to go wrong with 12:40 remaining in the second half, and the Huskies leading 57-50 when Jaden McDaniels was charged with a technical foul for taunting an opponent, after a dunk. Mike Hopkins removed McDaniels, and all the momentum went with him, and a minute later Washington was only leading 57-55.
