After losing four starters from last year’s team, third is a pretty great place to be for Washington basketball. The main reason for optimism around the program comes from the addition of five-star freshmen Isaiah Stewart and Jaden McDaniels who were both named to the All-Pac 12 preseason first team.
Quade Green is another five star talent entering the program, but he comes from the transfer portal, as he started his career at Kentucky. Green isn’t eligible to play until late December, but the point guard should slot in and start right away once he’s eligible to compete.
