The Gonzaga Bulldogs have become a national powerhouse over the past twenty years, and Washington basketball, since hiring Mike Hopkins two years ago are hoping to follow suit. The Huskies made the NCAA tournament this year after missing out since 2011. Though they lost to North Carolina in the second round, they hope to go further in the coming years. Wouldn’t it be nice if the Huskies and Bulldogs met in the tournament?
Washington’s Mike Hopkins has been named the Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Coach of the Year. The Huskies lost four of their five starters from last year, and will look much different when facing the Bulldogs, who had some significant losses as well.
