Washington asks Pac-12 to review last-second game winner in loss to Oregon State

The Pac-12 is reviewing the final play of Oregon State’s 82-81 win over Washington on Wednesday when Stephen Thompson Jr. drained a buzzer-beating three-pointer.

However, the outcome isn’t going to change.

“The conference was contacted to look at the end-of-game situation and we are currently reviewing it,” Pac-12 spokesman Dave Hirsch said.

Video replays indicate the game clock at Gill Coliseum didn’t start on time for the final play.

Down 81-79 with 3.3 seconds left, Thompson received an inbound pass and ran the length of the court before pulling up at the three-point line and draining an off-balance 21-footer over the outstretched hand of Dejounte Murray.
