The Huskies Men’s and Women’s rowing teams, both ranked #1 in their respective rankings, put an exclamation point on a breathtaking season by claiming conference championships earlier today.
Between the two squads, UW participated in ten total events at the conference championships. They dominated those events outright winning nine of them.
The women were especially impressive winning all five of the events that they competed in including the Women’s Varsity 8. They finished well-ahead of second-place Cal in total points:
The men had a little more competition to contend with, especially from a Cal squad that has been their biggest traditional rival on the west coast.
