Notes from the the Huskies’ third spring practice Friday morning on the east practice field next to Husky Stadium:
- It’s the first day in shells (shoulder pads, helmets, shorts), which meant there was some actual hitting for the first time this week — which meant it time to pay attention to the Huskies’ two hard-hitting safeties. Ezekiel Turner, one half of the “Bash Brothers” duo with fellow safety Jojo McIntosh, knocked star RB Myles Gaskin flat on his back after Gaskin caught a pass across the middle of the field.
