The University of Washington Huskies came out of the gates swinging taking down the Texas Longhorns 77-71 in a historic game in Shanghai China. The Huskies come home to meet a couple of east coast small college teams before heading to an invitational tournament in the Bahamas for a showdown with Gonzaga.
The Mountaineers hail from Emmitsburg, MD. Playing in the Northeast conference, the Mount has appeared in 4 NCAA tournaments, the last being in 2014. Led by 33-year-old Head Coach Jamion Christian, the Mountaineers are 0-2 coming off a loss to #3 Maryland and perennial power Ohio State.
