Amber Melgoza proved to be one of the few bright spots for a Washington women’s basketball team that tied the program’s record for the most losses in season.
The sophomore guard added one more highlight in an otherwise forgettable season when she was voted to the All-Pac-12 team on Tuesday.
Melgoza finished second in the Pac-12 in scoring while averaging 18.6 points per game. She increased her average to a league-best 20.6 points in conference play.
