The Dawgs After Dark Spring Game wrapped up spring practice for the Dawgs, with Donald Butler’s Team Gold besting Michael Penix Jr.’s team Purple 20-12. It was a more fun, and casual atmosphere as Spring games usually are. Coach Fisch put something on the line for the winners, however. Whoever came out on top would receive a steak, shrimp and salmon dinner, while the loser would merely receive rice and beans for their post game meal. Regardless of whether this motivated both teams, Team Gold got the win, thanks to some great catches, some inspired safety play and standout games from running back Jonah Coleman, and Raiden Vines-Bright.
