The stars were out for the Huskies’ first practice in full pads Wednesday.
It was a who’s-who of UW greats: Lincoln Kennedy, Lawyer Milloy, Dave Hoffmann, Mark Bruener, Damon Huard, Jim Lambright. Lincoln was here with the Pac-12 Networks, and Milloy was interviewed on the sideline set; others were on hand to support former UW team chaplain Mike Rohrbach‘s charity event held in one of the upper levels of the stadium.
There was all that going on and then a storm rolled in midway through practice, with thunder above and lightning in the area, forcing the Huskies to run from the stadium to the Dempsey Indoor facility halfway through practice.
