— It was a great day for the defense and rough one for the offense — and the roughest yet for Jake Browning. The freshman QB threw three interceptions during team drills Monday, the last one on a very poorly thrown deep ball picked off by safety Brian Clay. Browning also threw two interceptions in Sunday’s open practice, but I put less stock in those; no, you never want to see turnovers, but that was basically a walk-through at half speed.
