UW Football: A tale of Four Quarterbacks, K.J. Carta-Samuels

With the retirement of Cyler Miles and transfer of Troy Williams, the Huskies will have four quarterbacks who come into the 2015 season with a chance to win the starting job:

Today we preview K.J. Carta-Samuels.

K.J. is a redshirt freshman from Bellarmine High School in San Jose CA. At 6’3, 218 lbs. he has the build of a pro style, PAC-12 QB. A four-star recruit of head coach Chris Peterson, Carta-Samuels spurned Vanderbilt when he learned Coach Pete was coming to UW.

In 2014, Carta-Samuels led the scout team during his redshirt year, giving him the opportunity to learn the playbook in a controlled environment.
