Seahawks trade undisclosed 2016 draft pick to Detroit for CB Mohammed Seisay

The Seahawks on Sunday traded an undisclosed 2016 draft pick to Detroit for cornerback Mohammed Seisay, a second-year player from Nebraska.

The 6-2, 206-pound Seisay played in 13 games for the Lions last season with five tackles. Two of those were special teams tackles.

He originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent.

Seisay played primarily outside with the Lions where he had a strong preseason in 2014.

“He’s got speed, he can run, and he’s got a good nose for the ball as well,” coach Jim Caldwell told the Detroit News last September.
