Happy Sunday Husky fans. The last 36 hours have been somewhat of a letdown on the recruiting trail for the Husky football program.
Unfortunately the Huskies lost 2 of their 2022 commitments (who also happen to be teammates). The first occurred when 3 star Anthony Jones from Liberty HS, NV decided to de-commit from UW and open up his recruitment. Jones had pledged to UW back in December but after receiving an Oregon offer he decided to open things up and he now appears to be favoring Oregon after their offer. Listed at 6’5” and around 240 pounds Jones was being recruited by the Huskies at outside linebacker (though he could ultimately decide to play tight end in college).
