OKLAHOMA CITY -- Since this part of the women's NCAA tournament bracket was revealed, people have wondered what Mississippi State coach Vic Schaefer might do to slow down Washington's Kelsey Plum should their teams meet in the Sweet 16.
But Washington coach Mike Neighbors said he doesn't think it will take any lengthy cramming sessions for the No. 2 seed Bulldogs' coaching staff to come up with their game plan for the No. 3 seed Huskies (ESPN2/WatchESPN, 7:11 p.m. ET).
"Vic and I are very, very close friends," Neighbors said Thursday at Chesapeake Energy Arena, site of the Oklahoma City Regional.
