Markelle Fultz, the 2016 five-star prospect who signed with Washington, has been selected by USA Basketball to play on the Junior National Select Team in the 2016 Nike Hoop Summit on April 9 at the Moda Center in Portland.
Futlz, a 6-foot-4, 185-pound guard at DeMatha Catholic in Maryland, is one of 13 players on the star-studded roster along with Harry Giles and Jayson Tatum, a pair of Duke signees considered the No. 1 and 2 prospects respectively in the nation.
Other five-star prospects on the team include: Josh Jackson (uncommitted), De’Aaron Fox (Kentucky), Edrice Adebayo (Kentucky), Jonathan Isaac (Florida State), Terrance Ferguson (Alabama), Joshua Langford (Michigan State), Jarrett Allen (uncommitted), Marques Bolden (uncommitted) and Wenyen Gabriel (Kentucky).
