A man was shot multiple times early Thursday morning while in his SUV in the Chinatown International District.
The shooting happened at Eighth Avenue South and South Lane Street a little before 3 a.m., according to the Seattle Police Department.
The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, police said, and the investigation is on-going.
Police do not have a description of the shooter, Detective Mark Jamieson told KIRO-TV.
Eighth Avenue South remains closed from South Dearborn Street to South Weller Street while police officials continue their investigation, Seattle Department of Transportation tweeted.
