PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) — Mason Landdeck came off the bench to score 18 of his 24 points in the second half, making four free throws in the final 16 seconds, as Eastern Washington rallied to beat Washington State for the first time, 76-71 on Saturday.
The Eagles (3-3), who had been 0-4 all-time against WSU, trailed 40-28 at halftime after shooting 42% overall but making only 2 of 10 from beyond the arc. The second half was a different story as EWU shot 50% from inside and outside the arc.
