The biggest surprise and arguably the biggest loss for the Washington Huskies was watching Adam Mohammed leave in the portal. He was projected to be a major part of Washington's running back stable. It prompted Washington head coach Jedd Fisch to pay attention to running backs in the portal. While it wasn't overly necessary, it would have helped to have an experienced back on the roster.
Then, Oregon football's season ended as it always does: coming up short, and players started jumping into the portal. And Fisch noticed one in particular, Jayden Limar, who played high school just up the road in Lake Stevens, Washington.
