The Washington Huskies have desperately missed cornerback Tacario Davis, a transfer from Arizona, who is probably the team's best defensive player. The 6-foot-4 senior played the first two games of the season against Colorado State and UC Davis, but has since missed the next three games due to a rib injury he sustained while making an interception against UC Davis.

Davis is officially listed on the injury report as questionable for tonight's contest against Rutgers, but likely leans towards playing. Earlier this week, Washington defensive coordinator Ryan Walters said Davis "was close" and "itching to come back", while coach Jedd Fisch said he along with defensive tackle Jayvon Parker, "should be available.
