Husky tennis star Stacey Fung looks to finish her career in style

Stacey Fung has already cemented her legacy as one of the best players in the history of the UW women’s tennis program, and she has a chance to make her final month one that will never be forgotten.

Fung, the top singles and doubles player for UW, leads the team into the first two rounds of the NCAA tournament. The Huskies, the No. 10 overall seed, are a host of the first two rounds for the first time since 2004 after posting a 19-4 record.

Washington begins play Friday at 5 p.m. against Army. If the Huskies win, they would face the winner of Friday’s match between Princeton and Northwestern at 3 p.
