Huskies get commitment from Bothell sophomore quarterback Jacob Sirmon

Jacob Sirmon becomes the first recruit to commit to the Huskies for the Class of 2018.

Jacob Sirmon, a sophomore quarterback at Bothell High School, announced his verbal commitment to the Huskies on Sunday.

Sirmon, listed at 6-feet-4, 209 pounds on his hudl.com recruiting page, is the nephew of former UW linebackers coach Peter Sirmon and the son of David Sirmon, an associate professor of management in UW’s Foster School of Business.

Sirmon, who just wrapped up his first season as Bothell’s starting QB, is rated as a four-star recruit by Scout.
