Huskies could use tight ends more in offensive scheme

As one of the deepest and most experienced position groups on the Huskies roster, Joshua Perkins, Darrell Daniels and UW’s tight ends are expected to take on a greater role in the team’s offensive plans next season.

And that’s just how they like it.

UW’s four scholarship tight ends have enjoyed a productive spring so far while emerging as top targets for UW’s young quarterbacks. Perkins and Daniels have also shown their flexibility in going out wide as receivers at times this spring, a new wrinkle for an offense that had the second-fewest passing yards in the Pac-12 last season.
