Former Washington stars Marquese Chriss and Dejounte Murray are two of 16 prospects reportedly headed to New York this week to participate in the NBA draft.
It remains to be seen where they’re going to be picked on Thursday, but securing the coveted invitations to sit in the “green room” at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY indicates they will likely to be selected high in the draft and possibly validates their decision to leave UW after year.
Both players drew criticism in March when they announced they were leaving the Huskies.
