Former Huskies quarterback Jake Browning fills in for Joe Burrow, leads thrilling win

It's been a long time since Jake Browning was under center at Husky Stadium. With the excellence of the Michael Penix Jr. led Washington Huskies dominating most of our memories in recent years, it's easy to look pass the fact that Browning is Washington's all-time passing leader, and led UW to its first College Football Playoff appearance in the 2016 season.

For a university that has produced NFL greats like Warren Moon, Mark Brunell, and now Penix, potentially - it's actually Browning who sits on the throne at "Quarterback U". He started all 53 games he played in at Washington, leading the Huskies to 39-14 record with 12,296 passing yards.
