Top Washington talents like wide receiver Denzel Boston and running back Jonah Coleman were among many players inactive last weekend. As a result, more backups are seeing the field, including some redshirt-eligible players. Here’s what head coach Jedd Fisch and ESPN’s Pete Thamel had to say this week about who could see the field in Pasadena:
Armon Parker - Out for season
Parker had been contributing on the defensive line throughout his redshirt junior season, but he suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury before the Purdue game and underwent season-ending surgery shortly after.
“Armon has an ACL injury, so he had to get operated on again on Monday,” Fisch said during Thursday’s press conference.
