UW just had a huge recruiting weekend with a ton of guys in, and we’re already seeing commitments from out-of-state prospects like 4-star S Gavin Day and 3-star OT Dom Harris, both from Las Vegas, and hoping for more from some of the WR and DBs visiting from California.
A little while back, I wrote up an article called Do Local Football Stars Become Husky Legends? We all want to “build a fence around the state” as best we can, and pulling in the top local players like LB Zaydrius Rainey-Sale last year and DL Derek Colman-Brusa this year is definitely a step in the right direction.
