Commitment from three-star athlete Kamari Pleasant continues busy week for Huskies’ recruiting

Kamari Pleasant, a three-star athlete from Etiwanda, Calif., announced his verbal commitment to the Huskies on Friday morning, three days after he backed off his commitment to Arizona State.

He is the 16th public recruit for UW’s Class of 2016 and third recruit to commit to the Huskies in the past three days, joining defensive end Levi Onwuzurike (Allen, Texas) and cornerback Byron Murphy (Scottsdale, Ariz.).

Pleasant, listed at 6-feet-2, 185 pounds on his hudl.com page, played running back and safety at Etiwanda.
