Washington football is on a very short list, they’re one of 12 schools in the Power 5 conferences that are sponsored by Adidas. While Nike still owns the majority of the Power 5 with 42 schools, Adidas is starting to put some chinks in the giant’s armor.
One thing that needs to be noted with Adidas, a lot of the local highly rated recruits train at Ford Sports Performance in Bellevue, Washington. FSP, the highest rated 7v7 team in the country, is one of 32 performance facilities in the country sponsored by Adidas. FSP’s roster is littered with highly rated players on UW’s radar.
