AndrewsAndrews scores 30 as Washington men’s basketball rebounds with win over Arizona State

TEMPE, Ariz. – Andrew Andrews’ right ankle looks just fine.

His shot isn’t bad either.

The Huskies senior guard’s status was a little bit of an uncertainty heading into Saturday’s game considering he sprained it and was walking with a little bit of a limp 48 hours earlier.

But Andrews rebounded from his lowest scoring output (nine points) and the Washington men’s basketball team bounced back from Thursday’s loss at Arizona thanks to their star guard.

Andrews scored 30 points — five shy of his personal best — to lead the Huskies to a hard-fought 89-85 victory that wasn’t decided until the final seconds.
