For the past couple of months, there had been plenty of rumors about the Redskins making changes in the front office. That came to a head on Monday when Bruce Allen was officially dismissed by the Redskins. Not reassigned. He was officially fired.
Now, the ‘Skins are likely going to evaluate their front office. They could add some new faces to it and there are also rumblings that Eric Schaffer could get a promotion for the team, so that remains a possibility.
But one thing that isn’t likely to happen right now? Alex Smith stepping into a front office role.
