Who Wins Redskins Backup QB Battle?

Some say the starting job should be up for grabs but the Washington Redskins have named Robert Griffin III as their starting quarterback entering this season. And while he still needs to play well to keep the job, he’s the one the team is behind as number one on the depth chart.

Redskins GM Scot McCloughan stated there will still be a QB competition but once the Redskins picked up RGIII’s fifth year option, that solidified his spot as the starter. So they have to find out if he’s the franchise quarterback before they pay him $16 million in 2016.
