The Washington Commanders shut down three more cornerbscks for the season yesterday, placing Kendall Fuller, Tariq Castro-Fields, and Christian Holmes on injured reserve. They will be getting Benjamin St-Juste back from the concussion protocol, but they still need more players available for tomorrow's season finale against the Dallas Cowboys.
Last week the Commanders elevated CB Nick Whiteside II and S Sean Chandler from the practice squad. Whiteside was signed to the 53-man roster after the 49ers game. Chandler gets the call again this week along with CB Jace Whittaker. He was signed to the practice squad this week, and will already see his first action with Washington against a Cowboys team that is playing for a division title.
