Washington Roster Moves: Bryce Love released, RB wasn’t able to recover from ACL injury over two years ago

Related Topics: Washington, D.C., Bryce Love

Washington had a habit of rolling the dice on players who were injured in college, and had fallen in the draft. Bryce Love was one of those players, and two years later the experiment is over. Love tore his ACL on the final play of his college career at Stanford. He was selected in the 4th round, and was expected to take a year to recover before returning to contribute in 2020.

He did return to practice last year, but never looked right. Love made the team, but never played a snap for the team. He was placed on injured reserve in October after his knee reportedly swelled up again.
