The Washington Redskins have made their initial round of cuts to get the number down to 75 by Tuesday. The following players have either been cut or waived:
- TE Ernst Brun Jr.
- LB Dyshawn Davis
- TE Chase Dixon
- CB Tajh Hasson
- LB Alonzo Highsmith
- CB DreQuan Hoskey
- WR Tony Jones (designated as injured)
- K Ty Long
- G Bryce Quigley
- CB Trey Wolfe
The Redskins terminated the contract of the following player:
- CB Bryan McCann
The Redskins also placed injured outside linebacker Junior Galette on the reserve/injured list.
