Washington kicker Joey Slye out at last three weeks because of hamstring injury, says Ron Rivera

ASHBURN, Va. -- The Washington Football Team is signing yet another kicker.

Coach Ron Rivera said Tuesday that placekicker Joey Slye will miss at least three weeks because of a hamstring injury suffered in Monday's 17-15 win over the Seattle Seahawks.

Washington will sign Brian Johnson to replace Slye, Rivera said. Johnson has been on Chicago's practice squad, but spent four weeks on the active roster with New Orleans. During that time he made all eight of his field goals, but only five-of-eight extra points. Johnson was signed by the Bears as an undrafted free agent out of Virginia Tech, where he made 76.
