The Washington Commanders are expected to announce a few roster moves before they host the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday afternoon. One move has already been reported, DT Jer’Zhan Newton (pec) is expected to be activated from injured reserve. His 21-day practice window was opened last week, but he didnt get activated to play vs the Eagles. He rejoins a team that just lost both their starting defensive tackles to season-ending injuries that required surgery this week. Newton was a full participant in practice this week and should make his return on Sunday.
The Commanders released their injury report on Friday and ruled out WRs Treylon Burks (foot) and Dyami Brown (calf).
