The day has finally arrived! The Washington Commanders and the mayor of Washington D.C. have an agreement in place to build a new, domed stadium on the site of the former RFK Stadium, the team’s home for 36 years. Managing partner Josh Harris and mayor Muriel Bowser have been working together, along with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, and many others, to bring the team back to the nation’s capital. They recently had to get last minute relief on the bill that transferred the administration of the city to the city. This allowed the city to open it up for business, and the Commanders are now ready to move forward with their new $3+ billion stadium.
