I’ve said dating back as long as eight years ago, that if the team did change their name, they should go to Warriors and bring back the old spear helmet. Now, I’ve never been one who was opposed or offended by “Redskins”, but I am also smart enough to understand that in today’s politically correct society, sometimes change is not a bad thing. I have also always been one to see both sides of the issue, and I believe when sponsors start threatening to boycott the team, and major retailers are pulling merchandise from their shelves, it’s time to take action.
