The Washington Commanders are looking for more wide receiver help if their pursuit of Kendrick Bourne is any indication. That didn't stop one NFL analyst from proclaiming his faith in Luke McCaffrey to make significant strides in Year 2 of his professional career.
McCaffrey is in danger of getting lost in the shuffle. The Commanders traded for Deebo Samuel Sr. and spent a fourth-round pick on Jaylin Lane. Terry McLaurin and Noah Brown are still around, but McCaffrey made it onto the 53-man roster despite going through an up-and-down summer.
Whether another new arrival will push McCaffrey further down the pecking order is anyone's guess.
