Trent Williams Suspended For Four Games After Violating Substance Abuse Policy

The Washington Redskins were dealt a major blow to their offense on Tuesday afternoon. The team found out that their star left tackle, Trent Williams would be missing the next four games due to a violation of the NFL’s policy of substance abuse. NFL Network broke the news on Twitter.

Williams’ suspension is apparently stemming from a missed drug test. Per the Substance Abuse Policy, a player can be suspended if they fail to take a required drug test. Williams did just that, and he will not be playing in the next four games as a result.
