Anytime two NFL teams draft a pair of quarterbacks with high picks in the same class, they are compared to each other for the foreseeable future. Such has been the case with the Washington Commanders and Chicago Bears.
The Bears selected Caleb Williams with the No. 1 overall pick in 2024. The Commanders took Jayden Daniels at No. 2. Washington's first season of the new era resulted in an NFC Championship game appearance, with its signal-caller winning Offensive Rookie of the Year honors. Chicago won five games.
The two teams also played each other in Week 8, and the outcome significantly altered the course of both of their campaigns.
