A talented, multi-sport athlete, Terry Godwin turned down a career as a Major League Baseball player with the Braves in 2016 in order that he could continue his football path at the University of Georgia, where he was eventually a 4-year starter. Godwin incrementally increased receptions, yardage, and touchdowns in his first three years, topping out at 38 receptions for 639 yards and 6 TDs his junior season, only to have his senior year production dampened by leg injuries early on.
