The Washington Commanders drafted Emmanuel Forbes with the 16th overall pick in this year’s draft. He was regarded highly by NFL scouts for his blazing speed (4.35 in the 40 yard dash) and record-setting skills as a ball hawk, but not all thought he deserved to be a first rounder. Washington surprised many observers by taking Forbes over Oregon CB Christian Gonzalez, and New England snapped Gonzalez up with the next pick.
