Now that he’s fresh off of signing a new mutli-year contract extension that will keep him in our nation’s capital for a long time, Washington Redskins linebacker Ryan Kerrigan is excited about new defensive coordinator Joe Barry’s aggressive defense that he’s been installing all offseason.
“It’s a defense that allows the front guys to play in the opponent’s backfield a lot,” said Kerrigan, via CSNWashington.com. “That’s always a great thing when you can put an opponent in a negative yardage situation. That’s the thing that has excited me the most about this new defense.
