The Redskins have been negotiating on a trade with the Minnesota Vikings for Trent Williams for a few weeks at least. It was reported that they only offered 1 pick on Day 3 of this year’s draft and that was turned down. They were still talking going into tonight’s two rounds. Reports came out that the Vikings were out on the deal, and then they draft Boise State OT Ezra Cleveland.
We now know why that deal fell apart and apparently it wasn’t just the low price the Vikings were willing to pay for a 7-time Pro Bowl LT.
