We have another twist in Washington's search for a new General Manager. Yesterday, reports came out that Washington would also be adding Martin Mayhew as an executive in the front office. Chris Russell, and some others, had been reporting that this pairing could be coming to Washington, and they were Head Coach Ron Rivera's top candidates in his new vision for the team.
Chris Russell was on The Kevin Sheehan Show this morning and threw a wrench into those plans when he said one of his sources told him the front office structure is still unsettled, and it could be Mayhew getting the GM title, and not Hurney which had been widely reported.
